Tears in the Rain

Rod, walking alone in the rain

So the droplets hide your pain

As they mingle with your tears;

I pray the hurt eases with the years.

It does no good to conceal

The aching void that you feel:

May the healing touch of rain

Soothe away those years of pain;

May tranquil rainbows of relief

Guide you to the end of grief.

Instead of the masking rain

May you walk in sunlight again.
