England Christmas

Only one wish for Christmas
To see the ground covered in snow
But it didn't snow in Pennsylvania
There was only the suns bright glow

Upon England's lovely hills
In the land that's in my dreams
The trees and meadows were laden with snow
The prettiest sight I've ever seen

If I cannot have snow for Christmas
Outside my window to see
Then I'll settle for snow on Christmas
In the land where I long to be

Someday I hope to travel there
To walk on those lush green hills
To see the snow at Christmastime
And the ice on rocks and rills.
