When peace is profitable, all war will cease Then the quality of every life will increase The lust for power will have ended Hurt and destruction will be mended World leaders need a new way of thinking
Peace can be profitable if you’d just change your mind Vow to redeem and preserve humankind Save someone’s son, save a daughter Stop all of this carnage and slaughter War mongers need a new way of thinking
When peace is profitable, there’ll be no more greed No orphaned children and no one in need Weapon sales will diminish The rush for domination will finish Arms dealers need a new way of thinking
Peace can be profitable if we un-label race Harmony and tolerance now rule the place Ethnic cleansing won’t be needed Justice and mercy will be heeded Supremacists need a new way of thinking
When peace is profitable that’s a true victory We’ll be really rich and totally free Bread’s more precious than bombs Good health is preferred over harm Defense contractors need a new way of thinking
Peace is profitable because the universe has abundance It’s time to give peace a real chance There’s enough to give and to share Kindness and fairness abound everywhere Capitalists need a new way of thinking
When peace is profitable evil will be defeated Errors of the past will not be repeated Terror threats are rescinded We’ll have the life God intended Extremists need a new way of thinking
Peace is so profitable, oh why can’t we see? The absence of war is the best way to be Human life here on Earth is priceless All other things cost so much less Even religious leaders need a new way of thinking
